We are excited to announce that our team continues to grow. The latest additions to the duomedia family are Arne Tofec as Digital Marketing Executive and Yannick Boedts as a Communication Consultant. We can’t wait to see them flourish in their new roles!
What should you know about Arne and Yannick?
Arne is a young and enthusiastic person with a passion for branding and communication. After a year working in finance, he made the switch to marketing to fully exploit his creativity. When he is not at work, Arne is active in the music scene, has a knack for data analysis and always faces a challenge head on.
Yannick is an avid reader and comes to duomedia with strong linguistic skills being fluent in Dutch, French, and English. She enjoys sharing her love for languages and proves to be an outstanding team member.
What if…?
What if you could become fluent in a new language, which language would you pick?
Arne: “I would love to know Kurdish. My father is from Iraq, but he never taught me or my siblings the language of his home country, and my mother is Belgian so we always spoke Dutch at home. I would love to learn Kurdish one day because I find it difficult to communicate with my relatives living in Iraq. Also, I think it is a beautiful sounding language.”
Yannick: “If I could become fluent in a new language, it would be Italian. Expressing yourself in a language is a great showcase not only of spoken language but, most importantly, body language. Italian would allow me to understand how to communicate in another culture.”
What if…?
What if you could talk to a famous historical figure and get advice on effective communication, who would it be and why?
Arne: “I would ask advice from Martin Luther King. You could hear the power and passion in his message when he spoke to a crowd. His confidence level went through the roof. I think that he might share some good tips for presenting to an audience.”
Yannick: “I would love to get in touch with Eleanor Roosevelt, the former first lady. In times of hardship, she communicated directly to the people, achieving the right tone to touch them. Her speeches had the power to change the world.”
What if…?
What if you hosted a show? What would be its name and what topics would be covered?
Arne: “I have a passion for music and hip-hop, so I would host a radio show playing requests and inviting artists over to talk about their new release.”
Yannick: “I would host ‘The Chucklechat Show’ with lots of tips and tricks for communication.”
