Delivered in early April, the press was in daily production operation within one week. Druckwerkstatt Fernwald, in business since 1988, was seeking a solution that could provide higher quality print, fast turnaround and cost-effectively address longer runs than were possible with its toner-based colour digital presses. The Presstek 52DI press was installed by Presstek Germany’s partner, Heinrich Baumann Grafisches Centrum GmbH & Co. KG from Frankfurt am Main.
